The Grunwald company systematically develops the second direction of the production program — tipper superstructures for сhassis. Along with the expansion of the model range of semitrailers, the Company has focused on creating of high-performance rigid bodies for the construction industry.
The Company has presented a new project of a tipper superstructures for the Russian market in 2017. The new project fully meets the highest requirements for equipment in the field of construction transport. High rigidity, sufficient safety margin, reliable operation of the hydraulic system and an effective system of heating the body with exhaust gases - these are the main advantages of the new Grunwald product.
Company's design office has developed several varying versions of the body – from 16 to 22 cubic meters (21-29 cubic yards) for installation on the chassis with the wheel formula 6x4, 6x6, 8x4 and 8x8.
Body construction
The principal differences of the new project are all-bent body sides made of Hardox 450 wear-resistant steel production of SSAB concern (Sweden). The side board is a single all-bent part that does not have additional welds. This increases the overall strength of the body and extends the service life. The base of the body is also made of Hardox 450 wear-resistant steel with integrated exhaust gas heating system. All parts of the body heating system, including a three-way switching valve, are made of stainless steel.
Hydraulic system
TThe superstructure is equipped with hydraulic equipment manufactured by Binotto or Hyva.
Equipment
The complete set of the superstructure includes metal wings for wheels, aluminum side protection, protection of rear lights. The front wall of the body is equipped with a spare wheel with a winch.
Painting for severe conditions
The quality of the painting of Grunwald semitrailers meets the requirements of the ISO standard for severe climatic conditions. The key to long-term protection against corrosion – thorough preparation of surfaces before painting. Therefore, all steel parts are shot blasted twice. In the first stage, the metal undergoes a rough purification, the second stage blasting before painting is already fully assembled metal construction.
Painting is made by modern technology paints based on epoxy and polyurethane basis. All used materials are manufactured in Europe and of high quality that allows to use semitriler in harsh conditions. Quality control service controls all technological stages of the process.
