Grunwald heavy tipper semitrailers have repeatedly proven their high efficiency in the most difficult operating conditions. The prerequisites for this success were the high competence of Grunwald engineers in creating dumping equipment, the possession of unique experience and knowledge. Over the past years, the experience of operating Grunwald semitrailers in a wide variety of weather, climate and road conditions has been consistently studied. The data about the loads were studied and analyzed which the equipment experiences under different operating conditions and conditions. This gave an understanding of the best combination of technical solutions, techniques and materials needed to perform the most difficult transportation tasks.
In the Grunwald model range, heavy tipper semitrailers are presented in two trim levels: with air suspension and a 38 cubic meter body. or spring suspension with a body volume of 36 cubic meters.
The reinforced frame of the semitrailers contains a substantial margin of safety, which allows you to confidently operate with the maximum load of the body. The side member shelves are made of a single hot-rolled strip and welded two sides during assembly, which guarantees high structural strength. The body has a longitudinal stiffener, which increases the rigidity of the structure. An important difference between heavy models is the gable tire. This allows you to increase the reliability of operation of rubber, to unify its dimension with rubber tractor. The heavy-duty semitrailers are designed for operation with tractor units with a fifth wheel height of 1350 mm.
The steel tipper body is manufactured using the Half-Pipe technology and is characterized by great durability and safety in operation. The body is assembled from three parts of lap welded to a value of 100 mm, which avoids abrasion of welds with an abrasive load. PAINTING FOR SEVERE CONDITIONS
The quality of the painting of the Grunwald semitrailers meets the requirements of the ISO standard for severe climatic conditions. The guarantee of long-term product protection against corrosion is the appropriate preparation of the surfaces before painting. Therefore, the fully assembled metal structure is subjected to thorough shot blasting.
Painting is made by modern technologies with paint and varnish materials on epoxy and polyurethane basis. All materials used are exceptionally high-quality and produced in the EU, which makes it possible to successfully operate a semi-trailer in harsh climatic conditions. During the painting, the quality control service performs step-by-step control at all technological stages of the process.
As standard, three axles of BPW production are installed on semitrailers, with a carrying capacity of 9,000 kg each on air suspension. Axial units are installed in the Heavy Duty version, reinforced in accordance with Russian road and climatic conditions. Brake mechanisms of drum type. All hinged components - axles, pneumatic system, electrician, support devices and fittings are purchased directly from leading European manufacturers. This approach ensures reliability in operation and simplifies maintenance of equipment due to a greater number of service stations and greater availability of spare parts.
