The rapid growth of construction in the last decade required a multiple increase in the volume of delivery of construction materials. Due to the natural depletion of deposits and the increasing distance of the delivery of fossil materials, semitrailer road trains are becoming more cost-effective than single semitrailer trucks.
Foreseeing the market trends, the design bureau to solved the large-scale task of developing a line of tipper semitrailers that embody the advanced production technologies and properly adapted to Russian operating conditions. All project development was carried out with the support of experts of the well-known German design office. In the future, basing on the practical experience of everyday operation, the developed models were improved and received a number of technical improvements. As a result, the goal was achieved — Grunwald tipper semitrailers showing high consumer qualities and constitute a serious competition to European semitrailers. The design of the welded frame is further strengthened. When manufacturing the frame, a continuous strip of Swedish high-alloy steel Ovako, which maintains elasticity at low temperatures, is used. When assembling, the frame spars are welded from both sides.
The steel dump body is manufactured using the "Half-Pipe" technology, which characterized by great durability and safety in operation. The walls and the bottom of the body are made of steel S 355 MC, the thickness of the bead is 4 mm, the bottoms - 6 mm. The body is assembled from three parts, welded overlapping, which avoids the removal of welded joints by abrasive load. Tilted at an angle of 15 degrees, the rear wall of the body is fixed in its upper part on the bearings and locked from the bottom by automatic locks. The hydraulic equipment of the semi-trailer consists of a hydraulic cylinder manufactured by HYVA or Binotto.
PAINTING FOR SEVERE CONDITIONS
The quality of the painting of the Grunwald semitrailers meets the requirements of the ISO standard for severe climatic conditions. The guarantee of long-term product protection against corrosion is the appropriate preparation of the surfaces before painting. Therefore, the fully assembled metal structure is subjected to thorough shot blasting.
Painting is made by modern technologies with paint and varnish materials on epoxy and polyurethane basis. All materials used are exceptionally high-quality and produced in the EU, which makes it possible to successfully operate a semi-trailer in harsh climatic conditions. During the painting, the quality control service performs step-by-step control at all technological stages of the process.
As standard, three axles of BPW production are installed on semitrailers, with a carrying capacity of 9,000 kg each on air suspension. Axial units are installed in the Heavy Duty version, reinforced in accordance with Russian road and climatic conditions. Brake mechanisms of drum type.
