Versatile low-bed container semitrailer
The model of the versatile low-bed container semitrailer was the first development, launched in a series production by the Grunwald plant in 2007. However, during this time trailer got a number of improvements based on feedback from customers and carriers. Now this is a well-proven in the Russian conditions delivery vehicle. The semitrailer has 12 fittings and is suitable for transportation of all basic standard types of containers - 1x20 Ft, 2x20 Ft, 1x30 Ft, 1x40 Ft, 1x40 Ft HC.

ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION OF THE FRAME
The frame of the semitrailer is designed by German designers taking into account the increased loads. The weakest place of the frame - the transition from the spars to the gander is significantly strengthened, so that you can avoid buckling and breaking the frame. This design is much better adapted to the Russian conditions and the culture of exploitation in comparison with the usual European construction. The frame is made of Swedish-made steel, and most of the welding work is performed by automatic and semiautomatic machines. As standard, the semi-trailer is equipped with a steel platform at the rear that allows the unloading of the 20-foot container in the middle position without removing it from the semitrailer.
PAINTING FOR SEVERE CONDITIONS
The quality of the painting of the Grunwald semitrailers meets the requirements of the ISO standard for severe climatic conditions. The guarantee of long-term product protection against corrosion is the appropriate preparation of the surfaces before painting. Therefore, the fully assembled metal structure is subjected to thorough shot blasting.
Painting is made by modern technologies with paint and varnish materials on epoxy and polyurethane basis. All materials used are exceptionally high-quality and produced in the EU, which makes it possible to successfully operate a semitrailer in harsh climatic conditions. During the painting, the quality control service performs step-by-step control at all technological stages of the process.
REINFORCED AXLE UNIT AND SUSPENSION
As standard, three axles of SAF Custom Design production are installed on semitrailers, with a carrying capacity of 9,000 kg each on air suspension. Axial units are installed in the Heavy Duty version, reinforced in accordance with Russian road and climatic conditions. Brake mechanisms of disk type. Pneumatic system from the world leader - WABCO concern. On request, it is possible to install the drum brakes and axle assembly of the three axes BPW Heavy Duty.
All hinged components - axles, pneumatic system, electrician, support devices and fittings are purchased directly from leading European manufacturers. This approach ensures reliability in operation and simplifies maintenance of equipment due to a greater number of service stations and greater availability of spare parts

Grunwald semitrailers are certified by the State Standard of the Russian Federation in accordance with the latest UNECE regulations.
The warranty period for the semitrailer is 12 months from the date of sale. Warranty on the axle unit as standard - 3 years without mileage limitation.
