Versatile low-bed container semitrailer
The model includes two modifications: 4-axle container semitrailer with spaced apart axes, and 4-axle container semitrailer with closely spaced axes. Modifications differ in their load capacity and technical design features. For the version with spaced axles, the legal carrying capacity is 29 000 kg, for the version with the axles close - 28 000 kg. Both versions are able to transport all standard types of containers – 1x20’, 2x20’, 1x30’, 1x40’, 1x40’HC.

NOVEL LAYOUT SCHEME
The new model of a container is a response to current market demands. Transport companies are anxious to find opportunities for the legal transportation of heavy containers, weighing more than 26 tons. The number of such containers is significant, their share exceeds 50% of the total number coming to the terminals. Popular 3-axle models of container ships are not suitable for solving this transport problem. Repacking of cargo from the container is not always possible and expedient. The new development of Grunwald engineers — 4-axle low-bed container semitrailer — opens up new opportunities for carriers under the current legislation. The model is made in two versions: with a closer axles and with spaced axles. Depending on the scheme of the axle unit, the new model allows transporting in the central position a container with decomposed load, with a gross mass of 28 or 29 tons. Thus realizes the optimal weight decomposing scheme — without exceeding the load of the rear axle of the tractor, the pressure on the roadbed semitrailer axle assembly not exceeded the permissible total train weight. Reducing the own weight by improving the distribution of loads and increasing the legal capacity, it managed to create a competitive advantage for customers Grunwald. PAINT FOR SEVERE CONDITIONS
The quality of the painting of Grunwald semitrailers meets the requirements of the ISO standard for severe climatic conditions. The key to long-term protection against corrosion – thorough preparation of surfaces before painting. Therefore, all steel parts are shot blasted twice. In the first stage, the metal undergoes a rough purification, the second stage blasting before painting is already fully assembled metal construction. Painting is made by modern technology paints based on epoxy and polyurethane basis. All used materials are manufactured in Europe and of high quality that allows to use semitriler in harsh conditions. Quality control service controls all technological stages of the process.
REINFORCED AXLES AND SUSPENSION
As standard, four BPW Heavy Duty axles with a lifting capacity of 9 tons each on the air suspension and the WABCO pneumatic system are installed on the semitrailer. As an option, it is proposed to install the fourth axle assembly in the swivel self-resetting axis. This increases the maneuverability of the semitrailer and predicts an increased wear of rubber. Warranty from the manufacturer on the axle unit is 3 years without mileage limitation. The BPW Heavy Duty axles are fully adapted for difficult road conditions and have an increased resource compared to the standard European axis. SAF Custom Design axles on an integral suspension with drum or disc brakes are available on request.

All hinged components - axles, pneumatic system, electrical, supports and fittings are purchased directly from leading European manufacturers. This approach ensures reliability in operation and simplifies maintenance of equipment due to a greater number of service stations and greater availability of spare parts.
